When does it stop??? I'll tell you...When people start standing up to the big corporations and demanding a stop to all the blatant gouging that goes on not only in this country but in the world!!
Gas prices...ridiculous and rising while the oil companies are raking in their largest profits ever...I mean this is just out right ridiculous and a total disregard for people..seriously insulting!!
Now Internet metering...come on!! you are going to go from a $60/month bill to a $300 if your not careful...because bell, shaw, telus are all going to start charging per byte used and even though it only costs them cents to provide that byte to you they will be charging dollars per byte over the usage used as per your plan...IS THIS OK WITH YOU????? IT IS NOT OK WITH ME!!!..SO I WENT TO OPENMEDIA.CA AND SIGNED THE PETITION AND ADDED MYSELF TO THEIR EMAIL LISTS SO I CAN DO WHAT EVER ELSE I NEED TO DO TO LET THE BIG CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENT KNOW THIS IS NOT OK...NOW IT IS YOUR TURN TO DO THE SAME. BELOW IS THE WEBSITE LINK AND INFORMATION TAKEN FROM THE OPEN MEDIA WEBSITE. PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION TODAY

"This is where Canadians take a stand against price gouging by big phone and cable companies
Phone and cable companies are putting a pay meter on your Internet use.
We’re looking at a future where big telecom companies will charge per byte for Internet use, the way they do with smart phones. If we allow this to happen Canadians will have no choice but to pay MUCH more for less Internet. Big phone and cable are obviously trying to gouge Canadians, control the Internet market, and ensure that we continue to subscribe to their television services.
This will crush innovative services, Canada's digital competitiveness, social progress, and your wallet.
We urgently need to send a clear message to decision makers in Ottawa that we refuse to be gouged by big phone and cable companies. Enough is enough."..
